Welcome to the Beckley Heights church of Christ!

My family and I are thrilled and thankful to serve God and this congregation with such a fine group of Christians.  The Beckley Heights church family is enormously blessed with strong biblically sound elders.  The preachers, deacons, and teachers are all committed and qualified.  Spiritual and social activities are abundant and well attended.  God’s Word is still truthfully taught here and is firmly believed and followed.  It is our collective belief that the Bible is still right and is still the pattern for all to live by (Mat. 4:4; Eccl. 12:13; Psa. 119:105).

One of the highlights of the week is to assemble with our brethren on the Lord’s Day for worship (Acts 20:7; Rev. 1:10).  We diligently strive to have our worship services as biblical as possible because we believe spiritual authority originates from the Word of God (Col. 3:17; 2 Ti. 3:15-17).  Therefore, on every Sunday we take Communion (Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 11:23-30), sing (Eph. 5.18-19; Col. 3:16), pray (Acts 2:42; 1 Thess. 5:17,25), give an offering (1 Cor. 16:1-2; 2 Cor. 9:6-8), and preach God’s Word (2 Tim. 4:2; Eph. 6:19-20).  We also encourage every member to attend every service and participate wholeheartedly (John 4:23-24; Heb. 10:24-25), that we might all, “Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name” (Ps. 96:8).

We of the Beckley Heights congregation are simply a loving family of Christians trying to follow God’s Word to the best of our ability.  We encourage all others to join our Christian brotherhood by obeying the gospel of Jesus Christ.  That entails hearing the message of salvation (Ro. 10:14, 17), believing (John 20:31; Heb. 11:6), repenting (Acts 11:18; 2 Pet. 3:9), confessing (Acts 8:37; Ro. 10:9-10), and being water immersed (Acts 8:35-39; 10:47-48; 1 Pet. 3:20-21).  We count it a blessing serving God as He instructs and pray you do too.  Please know that you are welcome as our special guests to any and all of the services here at the Beckley Heights church of Christ.

May God bless you!
