Planned Parenthood provides healthcare services for women. But how they differ from other healthcare providers is that they also offer abortions as a service too. This is what condemns them. The problem with Planned Parenthood is not women’s healthcare but BABIES’ WELFARE. The issue is not about treating life but taking life. The slaughter of precious babies is the primary issue against this organization and any others that do likewise. God hates (an abomination) hands that shed innocent blood (Pr. 6:16-17). There are none more innocent than babies in the womb. “For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil…” (Rom. 9:11). Since, babies have committed no transgressions against God or against society; no authority on earth has the moral right to take their lives. Doing so is not only a horrible act of injustice it is also a crime. “Thou shalt not kill/murder” (Ex. 20:13). For the record, God and only God, is the true source and standard of all morality (Deut. 32:4; Ps. 19:7-9; Matt. 4:4). Therefore, when it comes to what God says and what people think, the bible sternly proclaims to “…let God be true, but every man a liar” (Rom. 3:4).

Many believe that since pregnancy takes place within a woman’s body that she has the right to continue or terminate the pregnancy. Society may give her the legal right but she does not have the bible right. A woman’s body is her body but the living body growing within her during pregnancy is not. The child inside is a separate person at a different stage of human life. God told Jeremiah, “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations” (Jer. 1:5). Job said, “Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?” (Job 31:15). The point is we become living persons in the womb. The Greek New Testament word “brephos” meaning “babe” is used for both unborn children and newborn children signifying that a child is the same before and after birth (Luke 1:41,44; 2:12,16). The baby in its mother’s crib and the baby in its mother’s womb are both living persons with their own identities. If it is wrong to take the life of an infant it is equally wrong to take the life of the unborn.

If we will not protect the lives of our children in the womb, who will? We have laws, which protect the unborn young of animals and birds. Destroy a bald eagle’s egg and you will go to jail and pay a very hefty fine. How is it right to destroy unborn children which are made in the image of God (Gen. 1:26; 5:1; 9:6)?  Our laws are supposed to protect and defend the innocent (Rom. 13:1-5). If they do not, or will not, we will cry out against them. “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29).
